Born and raised in New York, I moved to San Diego, CA, at age 21 where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. To my surprise, I discoved that after all that studying, accounting jobs did not pay as much as I wanted in order to achieve my goals. So, I had to find another way to pay the bills.

I became familiar with the real estate market at an early age through my father who still resides in New York. He bought, sold, and leased propertied and quickly learned that real estate was a reliable and profitable investment. After 13 years of managing his own rental homes, he retired from his job of 20 years at age 45! This is when I decided that I wanted to be just like Dad!

Ten years ago, at age 23, I mortgaged by first condo in San Diego, CA for $60,000. Today, that same condo is worth over $350,000 !!! Learning the lessons of my father, I too have bought, sold, and leased homes several times over in cities such as San Diego, CA; Temecula, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Scottsdale, AZ; all throughout New York, and, of course, Virginia Beach.

Now, at age 33, I am married to my high school sweetheart, Jorge Muñiz, Jr. I have a beautiful genius of a son, Xavier, who is now 7 years old. And, in 2006, my husband and I formed our own company in Virginia Beach - JMX Invesments, LLC.

I firmly believe in real estate as an INVESTMENT. As a result, I left a high profile management position with a six-figure income to pursue real estate full time. My goal is to share my knowledge and experience with everyone who will listen. Especially those who want to move ahead with their dreams, but still think it is not possible.
